29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: At a commercial worksite located at 3877 East 27th St, Joplin MO -- employees were exposed to hazards of nip points and rotating parts. A maintenance employee observing the LFA bottling machine inadvertently reached within the radius of the swing arm and suffered an amputation injury. This was documented on or about 10/20/2022.
