29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. On or about a September 26, 2022, at the South side of a two-story residential structure employees were exposed to the hazard of falling from the unguarded windows, balcony openings, and the leading edge of roof in the following instances: a) an employee was installing metal roofing at approximately 25-feet on a roof without using fall protection. b) an employee was cutting metal roofing pieces at approximately 16-feet on an exterior patio without guardrails.
