29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets. On or about September 14, 2022, employees conducting roofing installation operations on a single-family residential property were exposed to struck-by hazards when the employer failed to mandate the use of hard hats for employees working on the ground. No abatement certification or documentation is required for this item.
