29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels was not protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b), nor did the employer demonstrate that it is infeasible or creates a greater hazard to use these systems and develop and implement a fall protection plan which meets the requirements of paragraph (k) of section 1926.502: a) On September 15, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 22 feet. b) On September 16, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 22 feet. c) On September 16, 2022, at the above addressed jobsite, employees performing roofing work were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 9 feet 10 inches. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET), and in addition, documentation demonstrating that abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include, but is not limited to, evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
