29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(i): Procedures were not developed, documented and utilized for the control of potentially hazardous energy when employees were engaged in activities covered by this section: In the production area, on or about September 15, 2022, and at times prior, the maintenance (Authorized users) were exposed to sudden energization or start-up of the multi-energy source machines. The employer did not have machine specific written procedures for locking out/tagging out the multi-energy source machines to safe guard employees performing services such as but not limited to, repairs and/or maintenance on machinery or equipment. a.
