29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1):Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. 1478 Main St, Poland, ME: The employer failed to ensure employees performing roofing operations and working at a height of over 15 feet were protected from falls by use of guardrails, safety net, or personal fall arrest systems. Associated Contract Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1351116, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on November 20, 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 406 Main Street, Bingham, Maine 04920.
