29 CFR 1910.22(c): The employer did not provide, and ensure each employee uses, a safe means of access and egress to and from walking-working surfaces: This violation occurred on or about August 6, 2022, and times prior to, at a workplace where the employer did not provide a cover or guard of the oil changing pits where employees walking and working. Employees were exposed to fall hazards: (a) Bay area, oil changing pit on the left side, fall hazard of approximately 5-feet. (b) Bay area, oil changing pit on the right side, fall hazard of approximately 5-feet.
