29 CFR 1910.36(g)(2): Exit access(es) were not at least 28 inches (71.1 cm) wide at all points. (a) Family Dollar Stores, Inc./ Family Dollar Stores of Ohio, LLC / Family Dollar Operations, LLC / Dollar Tree, Inc. / Dollar Tree Management, LLC / Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. / dba Family Dollar Store #12671: The employer failed to ensure that exit routes were a minimum of 28 inches in width at all points. This condition was observed on or about September 8, 2022, at the location of 4042 Warrensville Center Rd., Warrensville Heights, OH 44122 in which exit routes were restricted to less than 28 inches and were approximately 17 inches wide at the narrowest point due to objects in the exit route. Employees frequently worked in the stock room and were exposed to the limited egress hazard in the event of an emergency such as a fire.
