29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The Bryer Co. LLC. worksite located 1691 Ingram Rd., Curtice, Ohio, 43412, on or about August 23, 2022: The employer did not ensure employees were protected from falls while working from a single story residential structure. Employees were installing drip edge after tearing off shingles from a hip style roof without the benefit of fall protection. Employees were exposed to a fall distance of approximately 8 feet to a concrete and grass surface. The Bryer Co. LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection #1404738, Citation number 1, Item number 2, and was affirmed as final order on 07/26/2019, with regards to a workplace located at 2305 Whispering Pines Drive, Toledo, Ohio 43617. The Bryer Co. LLC., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1447343, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on February 12, 2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2213 West Valleywood, Genoa, OH.
