29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2): The employer did not instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe condition(s) and the regulation(s) applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazard(s) or other exposure to illness or injury: a) Marler Rd. Pike Road, AL; On or about August 16, 2022, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards in that the employer failed to instruct his employee(s) in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions applicable to their work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or exposure to illness or injury. Employee(s) were allowed to work at/near unsecured cables laying across an active road without first being trained in the requirements of staying clear of the cable during times traffic crossed the cable.
