29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2): The employer did not ensure that the floor of each workroom is maintained in a clean and, to the extent feasible, in a dry condition. The employer did not ensure that when wet processes are used, drainage is maintained and, to the extent feasible, dry standing places, such as false floors, platforms, and mats are provided. The employer is failing to protect employees from slip, trip and fall hazards. This was most recently documented on August 10, 2022 when the employer did not ensure that the walking-working surfaces in the facility were kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition. Employees working in sections of the facility were required to walk on surfaces covered with water, blood, and portions of carcass that had fallen on the ground in the following instances: a) On the floor of the harvest section b) On the floor and the stairs located in the tripe room c) On the floor of the inedible section
