29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1):The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.95(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A (dBA) scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: (a)Steinhaus Brothers, Inc. dba SBI Manufacturing at 47061 Phillip Street, Sioux Falls, SD 57108: On or about and at times prior to August 30, 2022, the employer did not ensure employees were protected from noise hazards by administering a continuing and effective hearing conservation program when employee exposure was measured at a dose of 68.47 percent or an 8-hour time weighted average of 87.2 dBA. This condition exposed employees to noise hazards including hearing loss.
