29 CFR 1926.451(c)(2)(iv):Front-end loaders and similar pieces of equipment were used to support scaffold platforms when they were not specifically designed by the manufacturer for such use: a) Lot 6 Emerald Way Mount Joy, PA - An employer used a Manitou MVT 1230L material handler to support a scaffold platform that was approximately 14 feet long and was not designed by the manufacturer for that purpose, on or about July 25, 2022. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
