29 CFR 1910.151(a): Medical personnel were not readily available for advice and consultation on matters of plant health: a) On July 27, 2022, and times prior thereto, in the ADN Unit of the Invista facility, the employer did not participate in a consultation with a physician or other licensed health care professional (PLHCP)on possible exposure to hydrogen cyanide such as but not limited to: a. Recognizing signs and symptoms of hydrogen cyanide exposure. b. Acceptable and available hydrogen cyanide antidotes such as Cyanokit, Nithiodote, Sodium Nitrite injection, Sodium, or Thiosulfate injection. c. Communicate with their local EMS agency to plan possible exposure to hydrogen cyanide. d. Receive training in the administration of antidote.
