29 CFR 1960.30(a): The agency shall ensure the prompt abatement of unsafe and unhealthful conditions. Where a Notice of an Unsafe or Unhealthful Working Condition has been issued, abatement shall be within the time set forth in the notice, or in accordance with the established abatement plan. Otis Street, Bldg. 100: Visible water intrusion deterioration, such as, exterior/ interior wall systems, and physical evidence of water staining on ceiling tiles presented a combination of moisture and unsafe conductors' corrosion. Employees were exposed to a potential fire hazards.
