29 CFR 1926.302(e)(3):Any tool found not in proper working order, or that develops a defect during use, shall be immediately removed from service and not used until properly repaired. a) 58,59,60 Weir Drive East work site: On or about July 28, 2022, the Milwaukee Sawzall was not maintained in proper working order in that the power supply cord was improperly spliced thus exposing employees to electrical shock. b) 58,59,60 Weir Drive East work site: On or about July 28, 2022, the Chicago Electric impact gun was not maintained in proper working order in that the power supply cord was damaged exposing inner conductors and strain relief was no longer effective thus exposing employees to electric shock
