Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees working in areas where there is a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns, shall be protected by protective helmets: a) This violation occurred on or about June 15, 2022, at a workplace located at 1900 Melinda Ln., Farmers Branch, TX; where employees, who were walking and working under construction activities, were not protected from head injuries by wearing hard hats. The JM Ontiveros Construction, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1567795, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 05/09/2022, with respect to a workplace located at 12993 Wimbledon Way, Farmers Branch, TX 75234 ; and in OSHA inspection number 1494394, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 11/13/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 1881-1889 Wittington Place, Farmers Branch, TX 75234; and in OSHA inspection number 1479145, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 09/04/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 12521 Amesbury Way, Farmers Branch, TX 75234; and in OSHA inspection number 1467730, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as final order on 05/21/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 2151 Lassen Drive, Proper, TX 75078.
