29 CFR 1910.132(d)(1)(i): The employer did not select and have each affected employee use, the types of personal protective equipment that would protect the affected employee(s) from the hazards identified in the hazard assessment: a) Plas-Tec Corp. on or about July 13, 2022, at the address of 601 W. Indiana St. Edon, OH: The employer did not require personal protective equipment to be worn such as but not limited to face shields, gloves, and heat sleeves when working near pressurized 500 Degree molten plastic of the Cincinnati Plastic injection machine 13. Employees tasked with removing blocked nozzles on machines that weren't locked out were exposed to burn hazards.
