29 CFR 1910.176(a): Where mechanical handling equipment was used, sufficient safe clearances were not allowed for aisles, at loading docks, through doorways or wherever turns or passage had to be made. Permanent aisles and passageways shall be appropriately marked: a) Throughout the Americold facility, located at 1951 Old River Road, Bloomingdale, GA 31302, on or about July 7, 2022, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards, in that the employer failed to ensure employees working throughout the building were protected from powered industrial truck traffic by having designated lanes of travel, free from pedestrian traffic.
