29 CFR 1926.416(a)(1): When an employee was not protected against electric shock by de-energizing the circuit and grounding it or by guarding it effectively by insulation or other means, the employer permitted an employee to work in proximity to a part of an electric power circuit that the employee could contact the electric power circuit in the course of work: On or about June 17, 2022, employee, who was installing an electrical face plate and installing/connecting an Insta-Hot on an energized circuit, was not protected from electrical shock and burns.
