29 CFR 1910.269(c)(1)(ii): The employer did not ensure that the employee in charge conducted a job briefing that met paragraphs (c)(2) though (c)(4) of this section with the employees involved before they start each job. a) Sophia WV: On or about June 14, 2022, six employees were clearing downed limbs from electrical lines after a storm. The employer did not ensure that the foreman in charge conducted a thorough job briefing with all employees on site, to discuss the complex hazards of the limb being under tension with an uneven weight distribution, or any special precautions that would need to be taken to mitigate hazards prior to beginning work.
