29 CFR 1910.28(b)(1)(i): Unprotected sides and edges. Except as provided elsewhere in this section, the employer must ensure that each employee on a walking-working surface with an unprotected side or edge that is 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one or more of the following: a) 420 Corporate Blvd Newark, DE: On or about June 10, 2022, the employer did not ensure each employee was protected from falls while retrieving and lifting large rolls of insulation system material with a Powered Industrial Truck [PIT]. The insulation material being lifted from grade to the warehouse mezzanine through an unprotected side or edge approximately 15 feet from grade.
