29 CFR 1910.28(b)(15): Walking-working surfaces not otherwise addressed. Except as provided elsewhere in this section or by other subparts of this part, the employer did not ensure each employee on a walking working surface 4 feet (1.2 m) or more above a lower level is protected from falling by one of the systems listed in 1910.28(b)(15)(i)-(iii). a. On or about 06/09/2022, at the job site - employees required to work on the conveyor belt maintenance platforms are exposed to a 9 feet 4 inch fall hazards, in that, employees are required to leave the confinement of the guard rails while climbing over the conveyor belt to reach the other side maintenance platform because there is no safe access.
