29 CFR 1910.134(c)(3): The employer did not designate a program administrator who was qualified by appropriate training or experience to administer or oversee the respiratory protection program and to conduct the required evaluations of program effectiveness. Location: 56 Franklin Street, Waterbury, CT - On or about June 8, 2022, and ongoing, the employer did not designate an individual as the program administrator to administer or oversee the hospital's written Respiratory Protection Program for the required use of respirators, including "N 95" filtering facepiece respirators, for protection against the SARS CoV-2 virus. The employer requires employees to wear N95 respirators while providing care to and working with suspect and confirmed positive COVID-19 patients.
