29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): The employer did not verify that the required workplace hazard assessment has been performed through a written certification which included the requirements as outlined in 29 CFR 1910.132(d)(2): (a)On or about May 31st, 2022 employees working in the Portland P&DC were exposed to lacerations, broken bones, electrical shock, and electrocution, when the employer failed to ensure their safety by verifying that workplace hazard assessment had been performed through written certification. The U S Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.132 (d) (2), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1304573, citation number 1, item number 2 and was affirmed as a final order on 18 May 2018, with respect to a workplace located at 180-66 Liberty Avenue, Jamaica, NY 11433.
