Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees, in that employees were exposed to struck-by hazards: a) Baker Industrial Fabrication, LLC, 5660 Iris Pkwy, Frederick, CO 80504: On or about 5/24/2022, the employer did not ensure its employees were protected from the hazards of a compressed gas cylinder tipping over and becoming a projectile in the "Full" cage, located on the east side of the yard. The cylinders were not secured. Workers were exposed to struck-by hazards.
