29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: (a) The employer fails to ensure effective measures to prevent a struck-by hazard as demonstrated on or about May 19, 2022, in the back storage room where the walkways were cluttered with cardboard boxes that were spread out and not stacked orderly. To abate this violation, the employer must ensure that the back storage room is clean and organized.
