29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): The employer does not protect each employee from fall hazards while performing roofing activities on residential structures with unprotected sides and edges at heights above 6 feet above the ground by the use of guard rail systems, safety net systems, and or personal fall arrest systems. This most recently occurred on May 17, 2022, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at Lot 75 Championship Cir NE, Massillon, Ohio 44646; the employer did not ensure employees working on a roof of a single family home were protected from a fall of approximately 12.1 feet by utilizing a fall protection system.
