OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees. At the worksite located at 5302 Stockyards Expressway, Saint Joseph, Missouri. Employees on the hot side(kill side) were exposed to amputation hazards when operating The Jarvis Model SEC 400 Hog Splitting Saw during production with the anti-tie safety feature malfunctioning.
