29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about April 25, 2022 employees at Ivex Protective Packaging Inc. within the facility located at 456 S. Stolle Dr. Sidney OH 45365, that operated the Line One foam extruder line, were exposed to in-going nip points, and caught-in hazards that may cause laceration, amputation and scalping injuries to the fingers, arms, hand and head, in that the material cooling rack exterior and interior material rollers were not guarded.
