OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: improper training that was not verified through the temp agency in which the employee was provided. On or about 4/16/22 Employee was operating a chop saw for Reliable Truss. Employee while working with chop saw amputated a top piece of a finger. The Temp Agency did not ensure proper use or training of a chop saw was provided to the temp. employee.
