Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.184(e)(1):Alloy steel sling(s) did not have permanently affixed durable identification stating size, grade, rated capacity, and reach: (a) Ellwood City Forging Company; Fluid end cell area- on or about 04/13/2022 and at times prior thereto, chain rigging connecting the model # EPL 197 magnet to the Zenar 20-ton crane. The rigging's tag was missing the rated capacity. Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
