Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1):The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to potential crushing hazards from falling loads and/or lift parts: (a) On March 23, 2022 and times prior, at or near 1688 Two Ten Drive in Wahpeton, North Dakota, for the employees exposed to crushing hazards while working on vehicles raised on an auto lift that was damaged or did not meet the requirements of ANSI/ALI ALOIM:2008. Note: Among other methods, one feasible and accepted method to correct this hazard would be to follow the requirements contained within ANSI/ALI ALOIM:2008 to ensure that lift operators conduct daily lift inspections and remove from service, any lifts not meeting the requirements as set forth in that standard.
