29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: a) Backroom - On March 9, 2022, materials including a utility cart with product, plastic trash cans, dust mops and retractable-belt posts were placed directly in front of the backroom rear exit door to the outside, obstructing access to the door. b) Backroom - On March 9, 2022, cardboard boxes, plastic shopping baskets and metal mesh rolling carts filled with product obstructed the width of the exit route from the employee coat rack area to the backroom rear exit door. Ulta Salon, Cosmetics & Fragrance, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA Inspection Number 1298154, Citation number 1, Item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on May 16, 2018, with respect to the workplace located at 9561 Sage Meadow Trail, Fort Worth, TX 76137. No abatement certification is required for this item.
