29 CFR 1926.21(b)(2):The employer shall instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to his work environment to control or eliminate any hazards or other exposure to illness or injury. On or about February 18, 2022, at a worksite located at 8050 Southern Boulevard, Boardman, Ohio, the employer did not instruct employees in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe working conditions and regulations applicable to their work environment that could control and/or eliminate hazards such as; operating scissors lift type mobile scaffolds around obstructions and de-energizing overhead garage doors that could create struck-by hazards to employees installing a heating system in a tractor trailer wash bay.
