29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Points of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employees from having any part of their body in the danger zones during operating cycles: (a) Liner Shop - Machine operators and assistants used foot pedals to bring down the bar on the radio frequency (RF) bar heat sealers to weld seams on swimming pool liners, and the RF bar heat sealers did not have point of operation guarding, exposing employees to the hazard of getting caught in the point of operation, on or about January 26, 2022. No abatement certification or documentation required.
