29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Employees did not use eye and face protection equipment when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury from physical, chemical, or radiation agents: On the construction site, employees engaged in cutting masonry material with a cutoff saw was not wearing eye protection and exposed to struck-by flying particles during the cutting operations. Ivan Alvidez was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.102(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1568856, citation number 001, item number 001, issued on December 15, 2021 and was affirmed as a final order on January 14, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 604 Blue Horizon Way, Argyle, Texas 76226.
