29 CFR 1910.147(c)(4)(ii)(D): The energy control procedures did not clearly and specifically outline the requirements for testing a machine or equipment to determine and verify the effectiveness of lockout devices, tagout devices, and other energy control measures. On or about December 27, 2021, at the previously addressed job site, the energy control procedure for the thermorformer did not clearly and specifically outline the requirements for testing the machine to determine and verify the effectiveness of the pin and lock devices controlling the ovens gravity energy sources. Abatement certification is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(c).
