29 CFR 1910.333(a): Safety-related work practices were not employed to prevent electric shock or other injuries resulting from either direct or indirect electrical contacts, when work was performed near or on equipment or circuits which were or could be energized: a. In the electrical service room of building 3269 at University Place Apartments, Jacksonville, FL: On or about December 14, 2021, the employer exposed the qualified lead electrician and electrician helper to arc flash hazards, in that safety related work practices were not employed when the lead electrician changed out a 100 amp breaker within the energized 240VAC 600 Amp panel.
