29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16): Personal fall arrest systems, when stopping a fall, shall: 29 CFR 1926.502(d)(16)(iii):be rigged such that an employee can neither free fall more than 6 feet (1.8 m), nor contact any lower level. a) Miguel A Rojas Ramirez, at a jobsite located at Lot 299 at Ellington Village, Granville, Ohio 43023: On and/or preceding December 14, 2021, the employer failed to ensure a vertical lifeline was rigged so that employees were protected from falls no more than six feet. An employee was sheathing the roof of a house where the lifeline was extended to the end of the rope, thereby exposing the employee to a fall of 12 feet.
