29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) On or about December 16, 2021, at 10838 Ambassador Blvd., Saint Louis, MO 63132, Pic the Gift, LLC had not ensured that the ingoing nip points for an Eastsign Thermal Transfer Machine (Model No. MOT-1980) were guarded. One employee was injured when his finger was caught in the unwind gear of the machine.
