29 CFR 1926.501(a)(2): Employees were allowed to work on surfaces which did not have the requisite strength and structural integrity:(a) a. 18820 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, Florida, On or about December 13, 2021, employees were exposed to fall hazards of more than 20-feet while installing a new Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof covering system over the existing Purlin Bearing Rib (PBR) metal panels and skylight type corrugated fiberglass panels, in that, the employer did not make an adequate determination on the strength and structural integrity of the existing roofing system to ensure it was capable of supporting employees.
