29 CFR 1910.147(d)(5)(i): All potentially hazardous stored or residual energy had not been relieved, disconnected, restrained or otherwise rendered safe after the application of lockout or tagout devices to energy isolating devices: On or about November 23, 2021, an employee was injured while removing hardware on an overhead door and did not relieve the stored energy on the torsion spring causing it to release and strike the employee.
