29 CFR 1910.146(c)(1):The employer did not evaluate the workplace to determine if any spaces were permit-required confined spaces: a) South Coast Paper North East: On or about November 9,2021 employee were required to enter into a tunnel underneath the Ech Will, Model SLK 460XL-175 8R(sheeter) machine, a confined space, to clear jams. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
