29 CFR 1910.134(e)(1):The employer did not provide a medical evaluation to determine the employee's ability to use a respirator, before the employee used the respirator in the workplace: (Standard is applicable to construction per 1926.103) Hastings Utilities - 4520 E. South St. - Hastings NE 68902 - Employer is failing to ensure that an employee voluntarily wearing a half-mask respirator was medically able to use a respirator in the workplace. Employee(s) wore respirators during pipe insulation removal at the facility. This violation last occurred on or about the week of November 8 to 14, 2021.
