Citation 1 item 1 Changed to: 29 CFR 1910.147 (a)(2)(ii)(B): Lockout/tagout was not provided to protect employees whenever an employee places part of his body into a machine of piece of equipment where work is preformed or where an associated danger exists during a machine cycle. a) Ronpak Inc, Piscataway, NJ- SO Machine 8#1 - The employer did not ensure that adequate machine guarding was provided to prevent employees form entering or inserting body parts into the machine. The employer did not ensure LOTO was used when an employee reached into the running machine. Condition observe on or about 11/11/2021. The Ronpak Inc., was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.212(a)(1) or its equivalent standard , which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1489218 , citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 02/28/2021 , with respect to a workplace located at South Plainfield, New Jersey.
