Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:
29 CFR 1910.36(d)(1): Employee(s) were not able to open an exit route door from the inside at all times without keys, tools, or special knowledge: (a) King Soopers, 4600 Leetsdale Dr., Glendale, CO 80246: On 11/17/2022, and at times prior, the door in the liquor receiving dock is labeled "EXIT" but remains locked from the inside at all times, until such a time that a delivery arrives. The door can only be unlocked by Liquor section supervisor who possesses the only key. This exposes employees to hazards from burns, smoke inhalation, and death.
