Text For Citation: 01 Item/Group: 001 Hazard:

Such programs did not provide for frequent and regular inspections of the job sites, materials, and equipment to be made by competent persons designated by the employer. The employer is failing to conduct adequate inspections of the job sites, materials and equipment. The condition was most recently observed on or about 11/08/2021 at a commercial building located at 801 Assembly Parkway in Fenton, MO. Geissler Roofing Company, Inc. had not conducted an adequate inspection of the jobsite to ensure fall protection requirements were complied with to protect employees while working on a low-sloped roof. The employees were installing roofing materials on the roof, which was approximately 42 feet above the ground, without the proper use of fall protection to include a warning line system and personal fall arrest system or a warning line system and safety monitoring system.
