29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On or about October 29, 2021, at 3801 Davie Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, employees were exposed to fall hazards of approximately 35 feet while in the process of installing precast concrete slabs on a new residential building under construction without the use of fall protection. Aerial Precast Concrete, LLC, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501 (b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1252213, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on 12/04/2017, with respect to a workplace located at 2880 NE 27th Street, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 33306.
