29 CFR 1926.100(a):Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: On or about October 19. 2021, employees were exposed to a struck by hazard while performing roofing activities on a commercial building located at 5133 Ridge Road, Wadsworth, Ohio 44281. Employees were working on the roof above other employees on the ground with tools and materials that could have fallen and the employer did not ensure that the ground employees were wearing protective helmets.
